鈥溾赌橬别飞蝉颈别蝉鈥 is a true testament to collaboration,鈥 Ms Kyriakou said. 鈥淲hat I love most about projects like this is how they bring students together across year levels, creating a dynamic, cross-curricular experience.
鈥淗ere, age becomes irrelevant. Year 9 and 10 choreographers teach their moves to both younger and older peers, seasoned performers mentor Year 7s in their scenes, Year 8 technicians light the stage, and student musicians perform alongside professionals.
鈥淔or two terms, every cast member, musician, and crew member has poured their heart into bringing the true story of the Newsies' strike of 1899 to life. I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such talented and dedicated students and colleagues.鈥
