The St Anne’s Campus community started the week with our annual Easter service at the Cathedral. Our School Chaplain Tim Morrison and the Cathedral’s Dean Reverend Keren organised and ran our service. This provided everyone with the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of Easter. It was fantastic to see many parents attend and to see our students taking an active part in the service. Our active P&F team organised our annual Easter Raffle and Hot Cross Bun drive, both of which added to the Easter spirit.

Citizen of the Å·ÃÀAV
This morning, we acknowledged and celebrated various students demonstrating our CLERR values. Classroom teachers often comment that selecting just one student per term is challenging. Having the parents of the recipients in attendance demonstrates how much we value our CLERR values and our Citizen of the Å·ÃÀAV award. Citizen of the Å·ÃÀAV recipients for Å·ÃÀAV 1 are:
Foundation Bass: Vera McGrath
Foundation Mawson: Olivia Beatson
Year 1 Bradman: Alex Sinclair
Year 1 McCubbin: Clara Johnson
Year 2 Barton: Grace Geddes
Year 2 Chisholm: Minka Bektas
Year 3 Flynn: Ariana Staker
Year 3 Tasman: to be announced early Å·ÃÀAV 2
Year 4 Freeman: Harriet McArthur
Year 4 Kingsford-Smith: Jack Gilbert
Year 5 Cuthbert: Violet Millar
Year 5 Hollows: Quincy Balfour
Year 5 Paterson: Murphy Berton
Year 6 Goolagong: Indiana McKay
Year 6 Mackellar: Estelle Yanez

Digital Tweens
Earlier this Å·ÃÀAV, both Junior Campuses engaged with Digital Tweens to develop our students’ understanding of how to be safe, respectful and responsible online. Digital Tweens aims to equip children and young people with the expertise, understanding, and self-assurance needed to thrive in the digital world, with the support of their families, teachers, and communities. As part of this partnership, Digital Tweens is providing regular newsletters aimed explicitly at our needs. Please refer to VOS for the latest newsletter.

Staffing
For Julie Jago's well-earned long service leave, Simone Langshaw will be stepping into the Acting Deputy Head of Campus role for Å·ÃÀAV 2. Jo Davis, who has previously taught in our Å·ÃÀAV and has broad teaching experience, will be backfilling Julie and Simone’s classes. This means Jo will teach one day in Chisholm and two days teaching Physical Education. Even though we are a regional school, we are fortunate to have a group of experienced teachers who can step in when a teacher is unwell or on leave.
